IRISH CELTIC STUDIO Murphy Irish Coat of Arms Celtic Cross Pendant
This beautiful sterling silver or pewter pendant combines an intricate Celtic cross background with your Irish family Coat of Arms disk mounted in the center to give a dramatic presentation. Your Irish family Coat of Arms disk is splendidly designed with your unique Irish family Coat of Arms and your name (as you wish it spelled) deeply engraved on the surface. This design incorporates two well-known symbols of Ireland: above your Irish Coat of Arms is a Claddagh design, with two hands holding a heart surmounted by a crown (the two hands for friendship, the heart for love, and the crown for loyalty), and on each side of the Arms there are two Irish shamrocks. The Claddagh design, shamrocks, name scroll, and shield are in high raised relief, with the Arms and your family name carved deeply into the shield and name scroll.
The Irish disk is made separately and is mounted on the surface of the Celtic cross. Each Celtic cross pendant is individually custom-made in our Studio. The Coat of Arms disk is 3/4" (19.5mm) in diameter, and the detailed Celtic cross is 1-3/8" (34mm) square. Each sterling silver pendant comes standard with a 0.8mm thick by 18" (45.7cm) Italian box link chain, and the pewter comes standard with a base metal plated 18" chain. There is an option for a heavier and thicker Italian box link chain, which is 1.6mm thick and available in 20" or 22" lengths. The weight increase is substantial, approximately four times heavier, and it is a noticeable difference that suits this style of pendant best.
